Workers will perform a combination of tasks involved in the planting, cultivating and harvesting of diversified ground crops, according to the instructions of the supervisor. Workers must have knowledge and ability to operate and repair farm machinery. Workers will work in a storage building washing, culling, and prepping produce for storage or distribution. Workers will plant in greenhouses, as well as plant and transplant crops in fields. Workers will perform field work of hand weeding, thinning, and hoeing, as well as other duties related to planting, maintaining and harvesting crops. Workers are required to stand, bend and kneel for long periods of time in all weather. Workers must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance. Workers must be willing to work in varied weather ranging from extremely cold in the spring and fall to hot and humid in the summer. Workers will harvest the crops according to the quality and method of the employer. The employer will provide 1 day of training and allow 2 days of work for the workers to satisfactorily perform duties described in this job description. Workers will be given 30 minutes for lunch and a 15-minute break in the morning and afternoon. Beginning and ending times each day, as well as the number of hours per day will vary depending on the weather and the conditions of the crops. Workers must be able to take direction in simple English.

Employer will not provide meals. Workers will purchase and prepare food in the employer\'s provided or secured housing in a fully equipped kitchen free of charge. Employer will provide transportation in a 6 passengers seater Honda Civic minivan once a week at no cost to the worker to take care of personal errands, such as to the grocery store to purchase food, Moneygram, Western Union, and any other incidentals.

The employer will reimburse the H-2A worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2A worker. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. At the port of entry, the workers will be provided at no cost ground transportation by common carrier to place of employment. And such transportation will be provided to the worker on their return trip to their country of origin. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per day with receipts.
