Position Overview

Fusion is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing to connect your entire product development process into one cloud-based platform.

Reporting to our QA Engineering Manager, you'll help us test the quality of our software and improve our testing plans and processes. You'll join our Fusion Electronics team based in Toronto, Canada. Electronics is the foundation of Mechatronics design for Autodesk Fusion. Fusion Electronics workspace expands the capabilities of Fusion to create Mechatronics designs, improving the user experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to manual feature testing and regression testing of end-to-end workflows

• Communicate with stakeholders and teams on test strategies, test planning, status and risks

• Analyze, debug, report and track software defects

• Collaborate with the extended team of software engineers, product designers and quality assurance engineers across worldwide teams

• Prepare checklists and test cases for a new feature

• Testing workflows and user experience for interoperability

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

• 1+ years of software testing experience, preferably in an agile environment

• Experience in PCB design and ECAD software

• Embrace changes and can work under pressure

• Team work abilities

• Experience explaining testing phases and plans to other team members

• Passion for improving product quality

• Good understanding of software QA methodologies and software development process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in High-speed signal simulation

• Experience in Ansys or other simulation software

• Experience in automation testing and load testing

• PCB design experience
