McKinstry Core Financials Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry Dive into the forefront of financial transformation with McKinstry's exciting opportunity for a Core Financials Project Manager. This position is responsible for spearheading the replacement of the existing core financials solution as part of a phased ERP replacement initiative. This role entails collaborating with program managers, McKinstry partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution. The Project Manager will oversee team formation, RFP facilitation, system integration, testing, cutover planning, and end-user preparation. Strong leadership, relationship management, change management, and decision-making skills are paramount for success in this role. Essential Job Functions: Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with leaders, peers, project teams, stakeholders, and employees to keep them informed of project status and support interactions. Team Leadership: Support project team members, facilitate collaboration across departments, and ensure access to necessary resources. Project Plan Management: Oversee the project plan and address any schedule delays promptly. Requirements Definition: Collaborate with key stakeholders to document, design, implement, test, and establish support models for all project needs. Status Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, budget, and readiness for launch. Decision, Issue, Risk Management: Drive efficient decision-making, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and escalate as necessary. Change Management: Ensure end-users are ready for transition through effective communication, training, and readiness assessments. Communication: Establish open communication channels and facilitate collaboration between leadership and project teams. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Required: Minimum five (5) years of experience in managing ERP or complex implementations across multiple entities and states. Experience leading projects across teams and departments. Track record of success in executing projects within large, complex organizations. Ability to manage through ambiguity and deliver outcomes. Experience leading a workstream within a larger program. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Technology, or a related field. Preferred: Strong understanding of corporate service functions including Finance, Accounting, Technology, Supply Chain, HR, and other operations. Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office suite and collaboration tools like SharePoint and Teams.
