Robert Half Executive Assistant in Savannah, Georgia

Description We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. This role entails providing executive support to the President in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Assistant will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President and will also serve as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments for the President.

• Complete administrative tasks such as preparing expense reports and arranging complex travel plans.

• Act as a "gatekeeper" and "gateway" for direct access to the President's time and office.

• Communicate directly on behalf of the President with Board members, donors, Foundation staff, and others on matters related to programmatic initiatives.

• Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President, determining appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

• Facilitate smooth communication between the President's office and internal departments, maintaining credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.

• Keep the President well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

• Provide leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manage a variety of special projects for the President.

• Handle critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the President's ability to effectively lead the company.

• Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Requirements

• Must hold a role of Executive Assistant or similar for a minimum of 5 years

• Mastery in Calendar Management and Microsoft Office Suites including Microsoft Outlook

• Skilled in preparing and organizing Expense Reports

• Proficient in handling Confidential Secretarial tasks and Confidential Correspondence

• Experience in booking, coordinating, and handling Travel Arrangements

• Ability to prepare Meeting Materials, distribute Meeting Minutes, and organize Meetings

• Proficient in Email Correspondence

• Must be Deadline Oriented and able to manage Deliverables

• Skilled in Composing Letters
