The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.38- $37.50.

What you’ll do:

Eaton’s Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Summer 2024 Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This position is based at our Santa Ana, CA location.

Position Overview:

The supply chain intern will report directly to the supply chain manager and assist in ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain processes. The supply chain function is responsible for ensuring the delivery of products, goods, and raw materials on-time, ensuring adequate levels of inventory are tracked, maintained, and organized, as well as ensuring efficient manufacturing operations with the delivery and supply of goods from vendor to manufacturing operations.

During your 11 week internship, you will:

• Support warehouse scheduling and purchasing to automate and digitize work processes.

• Learn and understand key supply chain metrics and driving process improvement

• Complete assignments aligned with the strategic objectives of Eaton’s Supply Chain function.

• Presentation on opportunities led by members of the plant leadership team.

• Learning and development of Eaton Leadership Competencies such as business strategy, business acumen, and leveraging resources.

In addition to your valuable on the job learning, interns participate in robust programming including professional development activities, cross-functional projects, senior leader exposure, and networking. These events will help you gain exposure to the many exciting opportunities that lay ahead of you as you build your career at Eaton.

After completion of the internship, and upon graduation, your experience and newly acquired skills could lead to a variety of career paths, such as full-time employment into a supply chain position.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering from an accredited institution

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher

• Relocation is not provided for this role, the candidate must be located within 50 miles of Santa Ana, CA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduating sophomore through Master’s year of college/university is preferred

• Desire for a career in Supply Chain Management in manufacturing environment

• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills

• High potential/high interest to develop as future leader within the supply chain/operations organization

• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or the community

• Transportation to and from the worksite and for incidental business travel is the responsibility of the intern
