AIG Claims Ops. Excellence Performance Mgr in Quito, Ecuador

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the procedures of the Claims area to evaluate the control environment available and, if necessary, make modifications to the processes in order to increase this with the implementation of manual and automatic controls as required.

  • The design, management and implementation of claims improvement programs, claims governance & compliance, process optimization and transformation (including digitalization and automation), effectively collaborating with country SME and region cross-functional teams (E2E improvement focus);

  • Collaborating with global functions to ensure effective TPA management, vendor management, business intelligence, Global Investigation Services (GIS), Global Recovery Service (GRS) and Global Quality Assurance for LAC Claims.

  • This role will also have direct responsibility to implement a culture within LAC Claims of Continuous Improvement, its tools and techniques, creating a culture of improvement (constantly re-examining and looking for ways to improve our processes and overall operating model)

Profile:

  • At least 3 years of experience in areas of Internal Audit, Compliance and/or Vendor Management

  • Proven experience in delivering claims operational change and a demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at varying levels.

  • Proven track record in governance within the Insurance industry ideally within claims.

  • Proven track record as an exceptionally effective change agent.

  • Strong business and process mindset and change leadership skills to unify teams (within Claims and cross-functionally) around common goals and drive change.
