Data Engineer

Description

Core Duties

1. Implement and automate deployment of distributed systems.

2. Perform extensive ETL development using SSIS and Python.

3. Utilize SQL and RDBMS for data manipulation and storage.

4. Familiarity with Snowflake and Power BI.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills-

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency in SQL, ETL development, and cloud-based implementation.

• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., SPARK, Scala/Java, Map-Reduce, Hive, Hbase, Kafka).

• Familiarity with data governance principles and practices.

• Knowledge of DevOps, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, and Python is a plus.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
