Reporting to and working closely with the VP, Global Total Rewards with a dotted line to the EVP and CHRO, the Sr. Director, Global HR Operations will set up the Global HR Operations function, define the strategy and lead how we scale the HR processes to support Integra’s growth. This person will be tasked with leading transformation and change management by enhancing all areas of the global HR operations strategy in payroll, HRIS, and shared services and setting up best in class employee lifecycle operational processes. This role will be a key leader on the HR Leadership Team and encompasses HR Ops, HRIS, Payroll, Employee Relations, and Global HR Shared Services.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Work closely with the VP, Global Total Rewards, the CHRO, and the senior leadership team to develop and implement HR operational strategies and initiatives to support the overall business objectives and growth of the organization.

  • Develops and manages the Global HR Operations infrastructure including systems, processes, policies, and programs including compliance.

  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations including but not limited to payroll, HRIS, HR shared services, and employee relations.

  • Member of HR Leadership team with ability to lead and manage direct and indirect team members to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations on a global scale.

  • Design, develop and deliver an HR Shared Services model that provides globally consistent service and support to all employees in a more efficient and effective way while maximizing output and minimizing costs.

  • Establishes priorities, framework, and governance for all HR service delivery globally.

  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to our People processes, focusing on the employee experience, automation, and scalability, while balancing strategy and execution.

  • Develop mechanisms to evaluate the impact and success of the HR shared service delivery.

  • Manage the creation and maintenance of process maps and standard operating procedures, ensuring they are regularly updated, fit for purpose, and compliant.

  • Draw on relationships with HR functional leaders, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.

  • Monitor key HR metrics and implement data-driven strategies to improve HR operations and drive business results.

  • Adhere to the company’s policies and standards and ensure that laws and regulations are being followed.

  • Implement, maintain, and proactively review and make improvements to HR policies, practices, processes, systems, procedures, and templates. Ensuring that all documentation remains compliant with local labor laws and regulations in all countries.

  • Build and nurture effective working relationships with key operational partners of the (e.g., Finance, Legal, and IT teams).

  • Conducts research and analysis of HR trends including technology, automation, and employee experience.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Broad-based business acumen, sound judgment and proven, in-depth executive experience and strategic thinker in operations. Experience at global level required, with APAC / China experience as well as Western Europe experience.

  • Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred, or a comparable level of knowledge and experience that would typically be gained through a combination of a degree and experience.

  • At least 15+ years of experience in HR operations and as an HR leader who has served on the management team of a well-regarded, fast-paced organization known for human resources excellence.

  • Successful track record of building and leading broad-based, strategically aligned, progressive HR Operations teams in one or more high growth companies. This will include either leading HR Operations at the corporate level or leading the function for an autonomous business unit of at least 4,000 employees.

  • Experience in the design and implementation of scalable HR processes, programs, and HR technology solutions.

  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices is necessary, including a solid understanding of global employment laws and regulations, employee relations, performance management and HR systems.

  • Experience working in a regulated industry ideally in life sciences / MedTech.

  • Be results-oriented, resourceful, innovative, and at the same time focus on being cost effective and fiscally responsible.

  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including customer service, production, and employee management

  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity

  • Ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands

  • Must be passionate and be able to lead in a roll up your sleeves manner that is people-centric, efficient, collaborative; and marked by the level of energy. This person demonstrates the level of empathy, and approachability, which encourages people in the organization to seek their out for advice while always operating in the best interests of the company.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

This role is hybrid with three days onsite in Princeton, NJ and two days remote.
