Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

• Execute Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Management System in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other relevant standards.

• Execute enforcement to ensure compliance to EHS legal and other requirements along with EHS rules being complied with by workers, vendors and visitors.

• Coordinate Emergency Response Team and activities along with EHS Committee meetings.

• Maintain information on Emergency Response Plan (ERP), First Aid facility and welfare to ensure the relevant communication information is distributed to the responsible party.

• Execute Environmental Aspect Impact and Hazard Identification Risk Assessment for EHS Department activities.

• Establish EHS Work Instructions and checklist where required along with executing activities planned in EHS Monitoring and Measurement activities.

• Coordinate and execute EHS activities according to EHS Objective, Target and Programmes.

• Liaise with relevant institutions such as DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, local authorities on matters relating to EHS Legal and other requirements.

• Prepare and execute EHS awareness, communications, and promotions.

• Coordinate Incident Investigations and ensure its corrective measures been taken place effectively.

• Update relevant EHS data where required, prepare data analysis and report.

• Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and relevant stakeholders using principles of good customer service.

• Coordinate with operation personnel to execute EHS related activities such as Waste Management, Contractor Health and Safety Evaluation, and other Operational Control.

• Perform and commit to other duties assigned by reporting superior and upper line management.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid

• Candidate must be a registered Safety and Health Officer with DOSH

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Health and safety) or equivalent.

• Preferred proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English

• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field

• Applicants must be willing to work and be transferred either in Klang Valley, Seremban, Negri Sembilan or Johor.

• Experience in Rail Industry or equivalent, along with knowledge on EHS management system and local legal requirements related to EHS is an added advantage.

• Possess knowledge regarding Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Position Type: 24 Months contract (extendable based on project requirements)
