Gellert Global Group Sales Analyst in Paramus, New Jersey

We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, analytical, and results driven Sales Analyst to provide sales and operational support to the Retail Sales Team. This position is responsible for performing various reporting and analytics, reviewing pricing, and contributing to new product ideas. They will work with internal and external stakeholders as well as handle project coordination cross functionally.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Collaborate with Sales Manager to determine necessary tactical and strategic approach to deliver end goal
Compile, analyze and report various sales, product and customer data; provide actionable insights
Review costing models and make recommendations for optimization
Ensure customer and internal deadlines are met; coordinate with internal support teams to guarantee timely execution of requests
Assist with daily maintenance for accounts, including sample requests, document requests, project tracking, inventory management and forecasting
Support planning activities
Conduct market research and perform sales trend analysis
Oversight and maintenance of contracts and other forms of documents
Develop sales presentations
Engage cross-functionally to execute plan of action, resolve issues, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer needs
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Business, Marketing or related field
1 - 3 years’ related experience, food industry is a plus
Excellent analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build and maintain strong, productive relationships across functional groups
Flexible self-starter with strong work ethic
Ability to manage multiple projects and internal and external demands; sense of urgency
Problem solver with well-developed organizational and time management skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; advanced user of Excel
Resilient; ability to cope with complex situations
