Job Title: Construction Inspector

Job Description

Our Construction Inspectors play a crucial role in ensuring that all our projects adhere to the highest quality standards, conforming to building code requirements, construction drawings and project specifications. Your core responsibilities will include performing daily inspections of construction projects, preparing detailed inspection reports, and communicating any findings to the project manager. In addition, you will be expected to collaborate with the project team to devise solutions to potential issues while strictly adhering to safety standards.

Hard Skills

• Construction Inspection experience

• CWI Certification

• ACI, ICC, NICET : Soil, Concrete, Masonry experience

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Basic data analysis skills

• Experience in drafting inspection reports

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Panama City, Florida.

Work Environment

Our work environment is challenging yet rewarding. Expect work hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays if needed. A work truck will be provided, and you must be ready to work in outdoor field locations in varying weather conditions and noise levels. Expect to work at heights, in confined areas, and be exposed to hostile flora and fauna. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is a must. Regular physical activities such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting will be part of the daily routine. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Hazmat and respiratory medical monitoring may be required, and occasional overnight travel may be needed to support projects in various locations.
