Job Summary

Animal Health International Inc. (AHI), a division of Patterson Companies, Inc., is looking for a professional who strives to contribute to the overall success of the business, delivers results, and seeks career growth. As a Marketing Specialist, you will have exposure to all aspects of marketing such as fiscal year strategic planning, customer and channel segmentation, integrated digital campaign planning, and sales programs and promotions.

Responsibilities

Main Functional Area 1: Strategy & Planning

  • Lead efforts to revise and improve national and regional buying shows.

  • Work with marketing managers and other internal stakeholders to improve and provide regular updates to the AHI web site.

  • Take lead role in providing guidance and regular updates to AHI E-commerce web site.

  • Provide key support to Turnkey and the Technologies division to gain insight, help further integrate those business within AHI and assist in bringing to market new customer tools.

  • Coordinate and assist with fleet segment team to assist with implementing promotional plans and materials designed to promote awareness, engagement and drive customer purchase decisions

  • Manage various administrative tasks associated with budgeting, forecasting and channel performance connected to vendor funding and channel expense.

  • Maintain a collaborative, highly creative and progressive approach.

Main Functional Area 2: External Communications

  • Coordinate and assist with implementing promotional plans and materials designed to promote awareness, engagement and drive customer purchase decisions via the field-based selling organization

  • Define and act on opportunities to improve external communications, i.e. Insight Magazine, customer emails, social media, etc.

  • Facilitate marketing and lead generation campaigns and customer events.

  • Provide support to Marketing Managers.

  • Prioritize to manage tasks and work streams that will make the most difference to the business.

  • Communicate with clear, concise written messages thru meeting notes, emails and reports.

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of organization’s policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Animal Health related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience in a related position

  • Demonstrated track record of working both independently and collaboratively to achieve organizational and team goals

  • Proven ability to multitask and adjust to changing workflows and multiple deadlines; ability to work with confidential materials

  • Observable verbal and written communications skills

  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to recommend solutions to challenges as they arise

  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/365, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Animal Health/Agriculture

  • Proficiency in data analytics preferred

  • Proficiency in SAP or related ERP preferred.

  • Experience in digital (email, SEO/SEM, social, retargeting etc.) channel management preferred

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.

$42,400.00 - $53,600.00
