Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with advanced Excel skills and a background in finance, accounting, audit, or compliance. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting complex reconciliations, leveraging their expertise to drive efficiency and accuracy in our processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reconciliations across various financial accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies with precision and efficiency.

  • Utilize advanced Excel functionalities, including Power Pivot, Power Query, and XLOOKUP, to streamline data analysis and reporting processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and other key business initiatives.

  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, conducting audits and implementing controls as necessary.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, reconciliation, or related roles, preferably within the Financial Services industry.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in Power Pivot, Power Query, and XLOOKUP.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with process improvement initiatives and automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python) is a plus.

  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and adaptability.
