Unilever Associate Customer Business Manager in Michigan

Background & Purpose of the Job

The primary purpose of the Associate Customer Business Manager (ACBM) position is to drive profitable sales volume and develop collaborative business relationships with Meijer and the Unilever Brand teams.This ACBM will manage Personal Care categories, be based in Michigan and will report to the Meijer Team Leader.

Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The ACBM is responsible for creating and executing a Joint Business Plan in that achieves volume goals while optimizing customer investment.A CBM must be able to juggle multiple projects and time horizons at once, creating long term growth initiatives while driving flawless execution in the present.

Key Responsibilities:

·Build credibility with Unilever stakeholders including Headquarter/Brand teams.

oGain support by effectively communicating how Unilever can execute their growth plan at Meijer.

·Build credibility with Meijer’s Buying/Merchandising team.

oGain support by effectively communicating how Meijer can execute their growth plan through Unilever brands.

·Leverage all 4 P’s to drive growth.Create brand promotional and display plans, as well as recommend product-mix balancing innovation and existing items.

·Create best-in-class Innovation launch plans.

·Optimize all investments at Meijer including Pricing, Promotion, Couponing, Shopper Marketing and E-commerce.

·Coordinate annual Joint Business Planning, aligning Meijer and Unilever stakeholders on long term goals and growth strategies.

·Forecast Sales and collaborate with Meijer and Unilever Supply Chains to ensure strong execution.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Computer skills required: All Microsoft Office Programs

Customer Management, Customer Service or Finance background is a plus.

Breakthrough Thinking - The position will require initiative on the part of the person to work independently and deliver results.

Problem Solving -Will need to exercise good judgment and routinely make decisions to support the day to day business.

Organizational Awareness - Will need to reach out too many different levels of the organization in order to solve problems and gather information for decision making.
