Description

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance via phone, text, and email.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and applications.

  • Provide step-by-step instructions and guidance to end-users to help them resolve IT-related problems independently.

  • Document all support interactions, including issue details, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions, in the ticketing system.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT teams or vendors for further investigation and resolution.

  • Follow up with end-users to ensure that technical issues are fully resolved and provide additional support as needed.

  • Keep abreast of new technology developments and industry best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

  • Collaborate with other IT team members to share knowledge, solve complex problems, and improve support processes.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service excellence in all interactions with end-users.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (preferred).

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in an IT help desk environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, email clients, and web browsers.

  • Familiarity with remote desktop support tools and troubleshooting methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a focus on delivering timely and accurate solutions.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and support.
