ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for a summer Social Media Intern! In this role, you will play a critical role in developing and executing a creative and strategic social media presence across all social media outlets that showcases the unique identity of the Dollar Shave Club brand and establishes a strong connection with our community. You will be responsible for creating content and community across all social platforms, with KPIs across brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Content Creation: Contribute in the social media content creation by assisting the Social Media Manager in developing, producing and editing engaging content that resonates with our audience.

• Community Engagement: Assist in fostering a growing & engaged social community by responding to comments, collaborating with creators, participating in relevant trends

• Calendar Management: Partner with Social Media Manager in planning all elements of social calendar across channels to ensure alignment across team and consistency in GTM strategies. Develop GTM calendars for all key brand activations, product launches, and base business needs.

• Reporting & Analytics: Generate monthly reporting on performance across platforms and campaigns including engagement, reach and ROI etc,

REQUIREMENTS:

• Current college student pursuing a Bachelor's in relevant field

• Strong knowledge of social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc.

• Experience in content creation in personal or professional channels

• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to adapt writing styles to suit our brand's voice and tone

• Ability to meet deadlines and post social media accounts in real time, with little need for oversight

• Creative mindset

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to work in a team or alone

POSITION TYPE:

This is a temporary hourly role for the summer, working between 32-40 hours per week. Start and end dates are flexible.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position has the option to be hybrid, often working in our HQ office located in Marina Del Rey, or remote.

SALARY:

$18/hr
