Amazon Senior Product Manager - FR/BE in Luxembourg, Luxembourg

Do you want to influence the strategy of Amazon’s EU Stores org and the FR/BE Stores org by working with our most senior leaders and advising them?

If so, we are looking for an exceptional, highly analytical, intellectually curious, organized self-starter and excellent communicator, to join our team as Senior Product Manager for Business and Competitive Insights.

You will use a combination of outstanding analytical and technical skills, business judgement, strategic thinking, writing, and project management to innovate on behalf of our customers. You will use your ability to analyze and understand complex data to drive decisions. You will have strong cross-functional skills and will be comfortable working closely with business teams. You should have a track-record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and driving them to completion.

This is a highly visible role and you will lead discussions with our most senior leaders in the EU and beyond.

In more details, this role is two-pronged:

  • working on deep-dives, analysis, and recommendations for a senior audience (largely the FR and BE country managers) on matters related to the growth of our stores, partnering with Finance teams.

  • working on analysis and insights for a senior audience (largely the EU leadership team) on matters related to competitive intelligence, leveraging external and internal data.

This role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on our EU business by providing our leaders with actionable insights and recommendations.

In order to perform on this role, you will have to be able to pull non-standard internal data and ingest external data, using high judgement to swift through the data, and be able to formulate recommendations.

Therefore, the specific skills we are looking for are:

  • Have hard BI skills and prior experience with Amazon’s BI tools.

  • Have demonstrated a strong business sense in previous roles.

  • Have already built a good foundation in terms of writing skills.

As well as, in general:

  • Display unrivaled customer obsession, with strong ownership of issues;

  • Have a history of embracing scalable and automated ways of working;

  • Have experience in managing projects across multi-functional teams and different marketplaces;

  • Be at ease working with senior management and on high profile projects.

Fluency in French is optional; strong written communication skills highly appreciated.

This job can be based in Luxembourg, Paris or Brussels

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of Product Management or equivalent experience

Bachelor of Science degree

High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously

Demonstrated ability to influence teams beyond the line of sight

Ability to create business cases despite ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

MBA highly appreciated

Fluency in French is a plus but not mandatory
