THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Financial Analyst position reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A. As the Senior Financial Analyst , you’ll be a vital member of our FP&A team, contributing significantly to our financial strategy and ensuring informed decision-making. We’re seeking someone with a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in financial modeling, and the ability to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

This position has a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Utilize benchmarking and data analysis to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial projections.

  • Analyze financial statements (including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual variance reports at corporate consolidation and project accounting levels.

  • Evaluate cost structures, pricing strategies, and profit margins.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cost efficiency and profitability.

  • Assist in preparing board-level presentations and internal management business reviews, including financial performance updates, strategic initiatives, and investment proposals.

  • Clearly communicate complex financial information through presentations and written communication to executive stakeholders.

  • Work closely with management to define and track relevant KPIs.

  • Monitor performance against targets and recommend adjustments as needed.

  • Generate ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by senior leadership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years as a financial analyst or in a related role.

  • Understanding and ability to transform raw data into usable formats, ensuring reliability and completeness for subsequent analysis.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Relevant certification or progress towards (e.g., CFA or CMA) is a plus.

  • Three financial statement modeling.

COMPENSATION

The pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

CA Pay Range

$100,000—$120,000 USD
