The Senior Program Manager will manage multiple programs and teams to ensure program goals are achieved. The role will interact with multiple customers and cross functional teams. The Senior Program Manager will lead program teams(s) from quoting through completion of programs, ensuring financial goals are achieved. This role is supporting the Advanced Engineering group in Livonia, MI.   Responsibilities:

• Drive the cross-functional team to deliver program objectives, facilitate timely problem solving and decision-making, and act as a technical lead.
• Develop timing and resource plans to ensure program is launched timely and all deliverables are met while acting as a customer advocate when conferring with departments and providing direction on program requirements and priorities within the organization.
• Manage, train, coach, and mentor a team(s) related to their job responsibilities.
• Ensure that timely and accurate reviews and routine reports are conducted on assigned program(s), using these tools to expose risks and elevate issues.
• Ensure program(s) launch on time and meet deliverables.
• Meet profitability and capital financial targets throughout program(s) life cycle.
• Monitor timing, quality, technical and financial risks, and issues on assigned program(s).
• Act as a customer advocate when conferring with other departments and provide direction on program(s) requirements and priorities within the Roush organization.
• Provide leadership, guidance, coaching and technical support to team members.
• Mitigate risks through risk analysis and quantification and resolving issues.
• Elevate and focus management attention when there is not timely resolution.
• Support the business acquisition and quotation process.

*Requirements: *

Bachelor's degree in engineering.

Minimum of 6 years program management experience.

Must be a US citizen allowing for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance

Experience with managing multiple programs concurrently throughout the entire program lifecycle.

Experience managing overall program financial performance.
