This internship role offers the selected candidate a rare opportunity to gain hands on experience within the Human Resources (HR) Department. The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of HR related projects.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Support in developing a robust onboarding process : Partner the wider HR team and in consultation with business leaders to develop an immersive new hire onboarding process that ensures new hires are able to assimilate into GE’s culture and processes over the course of their first 90 days.

  • Drive systems and tools : Partner the wider HR team and subject matter experts (SME) to understand and evaluate gaps in systems and tools knowledge. Build process knowledge through observations and understudying HR Partners, in developing systems and tools instructional/training manuals for new hires.

  • Participate in problem solving : Support problem solving through collaborative cross functional effort in root cause analysis, data collection and implementation of sustainable corrective actions.

  • Support in developing Internal HR Communications : Partner the Asia Pole Gas Power HR Leader and the wider HR team to develop a consistent approach to communicate developments within and to the HR Community within Gas Power Asia Pole that is both sustainable manner and aligned with GE Vernova standards.

  • Other Ad-Hoc Duties: Prepare reports for HR insights, update and maintain HR records and be involved in other process improvement projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Marketing, Public Relations or Communications from a local or internationally recognised university.

-GPA/CGPA of 3.0 and above.

  • Competent with MS Office applications

  • Being inclusive and having the imagination and courage to make changes

  • Ability to demonstrate good communication, presentation and analytical skills are essential to the success of this role.

  • Strong preference for an intern who can join for a minimum of 6 months (max 1 year). Please indicate your internship availability in your CV.
