Who You Are

As a Senior Utility Billing Developer for the Oracle Local Government Global Industrial Unit (GIU) you will play a leading role in designing and implementing accelerators tailored to Local Government on the Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS) platform. You will work on building functionality into CCS, Reporting and Integration solutions and on deploying these configurations into development and customer environments.

Job Description

  • Be the Technical Lead for a Software Development Team

  • Customize and configure Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS) accelerators and improve upon existing configurations.

  • Design Integration solutions between CCS and Oracle NetSuite and Oracle APEX.

  • Design integrations between CCS and third party billing and payment systems.

  • Build solutions to automate data migration for new customers.

  • Build standard and custom reports for CCS customers.

  • Analysis of business processes to recommend optimizations/improvements.

  • End to end management of customizations, solution architecture, development, testing and deployment.

  • Troubleshooting of configurations, scripts, integrations, and workflows.

  • Creation of detailed user and technical documentation for new and existing customizations.

  • Support the customization you build in production.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

4+ years of:

  • Experience and knowledge of CCS functionality and its configuration.

  • Designing and Developing solutions using the Oracle Utilities Application Framework.

  • Modifying old scripts and workflows, as well as develop new customizations and workflows.

  • Experience in software development and related processes including source control, configuration management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of Oracle Utilities products (CC&B, C2M, CCS, WACS, WAM, MDM, etc.) and underlying data models

  • Experience with OUAF 4.3 or higher

  • End to end functional, process and technical knowledge of CCS including hands-on implementation, integration, customization, and support experience.

  • Strong understanding of Java and Groovy.

  • Working with global teams.

  • Unit testing with JUnit.

  • Experience in Integrations using REST or SOAP frameworks.

  • Experience in Oracle Apex Development

  • Experience working with Agile development frameworks.

  • Certification in CCS or C2M.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
