Robert Half Supply Chain Analyst in Houston, Texas

Description

Exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join a LNG company situated in Houston, Texas. The role primarily revolves around developing, implementing, and maintaining metrics and business-critical reporting, all aimed at driving business decisions and meeting the needs of our Operations and Projects teams. This position offers an exhilarating chance to become a vital participant in our team, contributing to the financial performance of our Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement metrics that drive business decisions and meet the needs of the Operations and Projects teams

• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the Operations and Project teams, identifying gaps and providing recommendations for improvement

• Act as the primary resource for understanding and reporting on the financial performance of the Supply Chain, including inventory, cost of quality, purchase price variance, and utilization

• Collaborate with the broader FP& A team to incorporate the Supply Chain's forecast into the company's overall financial plan

• Assist in developing and maintaining the budgeting process, implementing new systems and analytical tools as required

• Understand and report variances against budget and forecast, providing simple takeaways and actionable steps to improve the company's results

• Utilize skills in Power BI, Budgeting - Forecasting, Cost Analysis, and SAP to perform daily tasks and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role or a similar position

• Demonstrable proficiency in Power BI

• Proven experience in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Strong skills in Cost Analysis

• Proficiency in using SAP for supply chain management

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting ,or a related field is preferred
