Your Responsibilities
Join our team to lead the recruitment of skilled seafarers, ensuring adherence to procedures and compliance standards. From interviewing to training, your efforts will shape a talented fleet, while developing partnerships and seeking new recruitment avenues to strengthen our team.
Selecting, recruiting and interviewing of new seafarers in accordance with the applicable company procedures and based on the demand as identified/advised as well as Company’s requirements for the specific position/vessel
Ensuring that newly hired seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with STCW requirements
Maintaining records of newly hired seafarers in the computerized systems as required as well as ensuring that all applicants are updated on the status quo of their application
Representing the company during job fares as well as screening the market for new/improved recruitment sources
Maintaining contact with manning agents and headhunters on matters related to the selection and recruitment of seafarers
Any other tasks and organizational duties as may assigned to
Your Profile
Vocational training in Shipping, Shipmanagement, Business Administration or Human Resources
Degree in Shipping, Shipmanagement, Business Administration or Human Resources is desirable
Minimum of 2 years of working experience within the Human Resource/Recruitment sector
Working experience within the Business Administration sector is desirable
Very good English language skills! (English is our company language.)
Good interpersonal skills, good controlling, communication and organizational skills
Good command of the German and/or Italian language desirable
