Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in Grand Rapids, Michigan for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this role, you will be handling invoicing and collections for one of our divisions, working within a highly skilled and experienced team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all invoicing and collections for one of our divisions

• Maintain a sense of urgency in managing accounts payable and receivable

• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and invoice processing

• Use skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain accurate records

• Take ownership of the invoicing and collections process, ensuring a high level of efficiency and accuracy

• Resolve customer inquiries related to credit applications and payments

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Ensure all customer credit records are maintained accurately and efficiently

• Utilize your skills in Billing and Invoice Processing to streamline financial operations

• Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure all financial processes are conducted smoothly and accurately.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing is essential.

• Must possess strong Data Entry skills.

• Proven ability to use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Familiarity with financial software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
