Description Overview

The QA Compliance Supervisor is the primary point of contact for internal audits and is a critical contact hosting external audits. They will manage the processes and standards for auditing and CAPAs, including internal and external audit processes. Additionally, this person in responsible for managing the training and certification of internal auditors.\

Please note: This role is structured as first shift (Monday-Friday). Flexibility required to support off shift employees.\

Scope of the Role

• Responsible for internal audit program and performs internal and external audits. This includes creation of internal schedule.
• Primary administrator for Intelex. This includes metric generation and CAPA follow-up.
• Reviews SAP Formulations
• Approval of Manufacturing Instructions
• Back-Up Host for Audits
• Leads RCA and audit responses.
• Supervises a team of QA Technicians, responsible for daily audits, verification of activities, on floor document reviews, and other functions.
• Ensures compliance FDA regulations, SQF, Kosher, Halal HACCP, and Food Safety\

Experience Required

• Bachelors degree required
• Minimum of 4 years of related quality experience (food manufacturing preferred)
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of FDA regulations, SQF, Kosher, Halal HACCP, and Food Safety Principles\
