Fortive Corporation Clinical Educator in Franklin, Tennessee

The Clinical Educator will deliver onsite ServicePlus training and/or assessments for the department of Customer Advancement. The Clinical Educator will work with all members of the Customer Success team to implement and deliver training and/or assessments to ServicePlus clients. Communication within the Customer Advancement team is a crucial part of this role. This position requires a strong Sterile Processing background, extensive knowledge of CensiTrac, interpersonal and communication skills, the demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as the ability to work independently to deliver solutions on time.

The Clinical Educator will participate in the continual improvement efforts of the department including current and ongoing training documents and supporting material to assist in training internal and external clients. Strong communication with all departments is necessary.

The Clinical Educator will lead and/or participate in educational activities that support Censis personnel, partners, customers, and potential customers via webinars, podcasts, blogs, and article writing or editing.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the implementation of site-specific action items for the client.

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the CensiTrac Product Suite, OR Scheduler, LoanerLink, ScopeTrac Advanced, and other Censis products.

  • Train clients, partners, and internal staff, on all features and benefits of CensiTrac.

  • Possesses strong analytical skills and ability to assimilate information to complete training reports and/or training checklist as needed.

  • Communicate with technical and non-technical client resources.

  • Modify training in-service checklists, manuals, and quick reference guides as needed.

  • Gain knowledge of equipment, products and systems related to the sterile processing profession.

  • Maintain knowledge of surgical instrumentation, medical devices, endoscopic devices, and sterilization methods.

  • Maintain knowledge of governing standards relating to sterile processing.

  • Provide troubleshooting and installation support of CensiTrac related hardware.

  • Recommend process improvement and product utilization efforts for positive customer satisfaction.

  • Provide sterile processing and/or operating room workflow solutions to healthcare professionals.

  • Provide positive customer service and maintain professional acuity in representing Censis provided products.

  • Identify and communicate installation problems, software bugs and/or vital software modifications to internal Censis teams.

  • Build passion and excitement for Censis products.

  • Responsible for developing and delivering information presentations for customers and internal employees as needed.

  • Maintain accurate travel expense records for timely submission.

  • Requires travel up to 50%.

    Required

    • Minimum 1-year experience in a leadership role

    • Current professional certification with HSPA or CBSPD

    • Minimum of 2 years experience using or implementing CensiTrac

    • 3 to 5 years experience working in a Sterile Processing department

    • Experience implementing systems in healthcare environments

    • Knowledge of regulatory bodies impacting Sterile Processing and Operating Rooms

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, computer systems, and common software products

    Education:

    • Bachelor degree in related area preferred or equivalent experience

National: The salary range for this position is $54,100 - $100,500

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
