Lead the consumer learning plan for Shea Moisture Brand. Driving insight for brand communication and innovation.
Bring multicultural insight to the portfolio of Unilever Beauty & Personal Care brands.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
Shifting demographics in the US offers a huge & exciting opportunity to drive growth for the Unilever Beauty & personal care business by identifying & addressing the needs of our multicultural citizens (African American, Hispanic, Asian, other) in the most relevant manner.
You will be the CMI expert for multicultural citizen insights for Beauty & Personal care, supporting an exciting portfolio of BPC brands including Shea Moisture, that target these important and growing cohorts. You will be an indispensable business partner to these brand teams by leading the crafting and execution of the multicultural learning agenda that will drive development & growth of these brands/initiatives within these cohorts. You will generate insights by diving into the needs, habits, attitudes, cultural trends, product & ingredient trends, format preferences etc that are important for these citizens. You will embed these insights in the business to influence the development of strategy, relevant and engaging innovation, communication & content and customer communication for this data driven marketing world. You will also lead & work with agency partners to support the Sundial business with brand/market performance understanding that delivers growth in the US & Canada.

Education & Training
Undergraduate degree required
Based at Unilever HQ, Englewood Cliffs NJ but will require at least 50% of time to be spent at the Long Island offices of Sundial Brands.
Travel requirements: Yes (appx 10 - 15%)
Scope – primarily North America, potential for some global work
Demonstrated high performance. 8+ years of relevant consumer / market research experience in Quantitative and / or qualitative research. Proven skills in unearthing insights to drive strategy, identify growth opportunities, trends, innovation & advertising development. Multicultural research experience in North America is preferred.
