Key Objective(s):

The main purpose of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer is:

  • To execute the daily operations of IT Infrastructure related needs of the organization. This includes direct support for the IT Datacenter, Virtual, Cloud and endpoint infrastructure equipment, in addition to support. This position will also assist with disaster recovery, business continuity / execution and server backup management and policies.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Infrastructure team and set direction in coordination with IT Director

  • Expertise and fundamentals in a variety of security concepts including domain, physical and virtual server management and administration, vulnerability management, patch management, security configuration, data protection and intrusion protection.

  • Establish and maintain standards by supplying functional documentation, including diagramming, for cross training and support purposes as directed

  • Oversight of expertise MS O365 and Azure environment

  • Enterprise Application review, integration and support

  • Responsible for execution of security policy and security initiatives. Initiatives include vulnerability management, security patch management, security configuration, and phishing metrics.

  • Active Directory Domain controller and local network Administration

  • IT Security review and auditing

  • Review MS Active Directory EUA and IAM

  • Work with the IT Security to resolve various security compliance items as they come up from penetration testing

  • On call coverage management and participation

    Desired Qualifications:

  • Job holder may be called upon to provide support for service issues or failures at any time.

  • Expert knowledge and experience of technical security concepts including risk assessment, cloud security, data protection, vulnerability assessment, secure configurations, security patch Management, DLP & Rights management.

  • Proven knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases, and systems and how they affect an organization's cybersecurity risk.

  • Active Directory planning, deployment, and support experience. Microsoft Certification is highly desirable.

  • Preference for someone who is familiar with a variety of social media platforms and how to stay ahead and educate the organization on security threats and mitigation techniques.

  • Proven knowledge of information technology systems, network infrastructure and operations including cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

  • Security framework experience: ISO 27001, ISO 27002, NIST 800-53, PCI

  • Expertise in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)

  • SSCP, CCSP, or CISSP credential is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science related subject required with 10-15 years of experience, or a combination of equivalent experience and credentials.

  • Must have a proven ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, and with a variety of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Regular, reliable, and consistent attendance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Physical Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

  • Sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components
