Responsibilities:

Organization and execution of efficient and in-time inbound and outbound transports of our production materials and finished goods using preferred and contracted sea, air, road or rail forwarders

Collaboration with road, sea, air and rail forwarders, invoice control and costs improvement activities

Ensures the customs compliance for import and export as required by national and international customs rules and laws

Provide regular reporting of compliance metrics regarding customs risk

Identifies and complies with import/export regulatory documentation and process standards set by external entities (e.g. government, customs authorities) and required by Vitesco Technologies

Coordinates and executes the regular import & export customs processes

Executes the standard customs clearance

Manages claims for transport damages / complaints (e.g. investigation of fault, liabilities, and settlement of claims)

Coordinated Import & Export transport processes during emergency shipments

Complies in conformity with applicable legal and other requirements, in conformity with internal requirements included in the quality and environment handbook, internal procedures and operating instructions

Job requirements:

Knowledge of applicable transportation related regulations and processes

1-3 years relevant experience in a similar position

Good command of English

MS Office skills

Minimum secondary level education in relevant fields (customs and foreign trade)

BSc degree and experience at a multinational automotive company is an advantage
