Space Operations SME for Joint Commercial Operation Center (JCO)

KBR is seeking a Space Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) Team Member who will be responsible for supporting the Joint Task Force Self Defense (JTF-SD) Joint Commercial Operations Center (JCO). The position’s roles and function would include acting as the space operational subject matter expert in support of JCO training, exercises, daily operations and briefings and providing support to enhance exercise and mission rehearsal planning, execution, and after action reporting for JCO related activities. Applicants must be self-motivated, team-oriented, able to adapt to dynamic environments, and work with personnel from other organizations and companies.

Shall assist with the following:

Assist the USG with planning, coordination, briefing and execution of support for space defense training and exercises.

Attend coordination and planning meetings and conduct review of desired learning objectives and participant supporting capabilities.

Coordinate with JCO leadership and supporting organizations during planning and execution.

Requirements:

10 years of exercise support and space operations experience is preferred.

Bachelors Degree in STEM or related area highly desired. Associates Degree considered. High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Software Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required

Basic qualifications and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Support JCO exercise, experiment, and training programs as assigned.

Familiarity with military operations, personnel, regulations, and organizations desired.

Experience leading diverse teams and personnel of varying experience levels and skill sets.

Ability to operate independently and manage team elements to meet contract requirements.

Ability and willingness to travel (less than 10% estimate).

Perform additional duties as required or identified.

Basic Compensation: $100-$145K

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
