Job Title: Press Storekeeper

Location: Clarksville, TN

Shift: Day Shift Mon-Fri

Join our Press Inventory Team! Our Press Storekeeper is is responsible for maintaining efficient paper inventories in the press warehouse. The incumbent conducts daily inventory of press consumables and follows procedures in order to effectively make use of such inventory and ensure oldest paper is used first, when appropriate. They work closely with the Commercial department to ensure timely organization of commercial paper, including special orders. Maintains the organizational system for paper stock and has a good understanding of the different types of paper sizes, texture, weight and colors. Assists the press supervisors with a variety of duties, including monitoring the ink and chemical levels, as well as training of floor helpers in their assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or GED required.

  • Good computer skills required.

  • Good communication skills - written and verbal.

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail a must.

  • Press experience preferred.

  • Experience in logistics, paper, and/or supply chain management a plus.

  • Must be forklift certified.

  • Must be able to pass required Forklift and Hand Jack certification w/Jostens.

  • Must be a team player and positive in all interactions across departments.

  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Must be a self-starter with decision making ability.

  • Willing to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice.

  • Works well under the pressure of deadlines.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must have flexibility to learn and use new technology.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Excellent attendance and performance record.
