Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a full-time Data Network Engineer on behalf of a telecom client in Charlotte, NC. The Data Network Engineer will be responsible for provisioning of new Internet and Ethernet Transport services for Carrier and Enterprise customer orders, customer support and equipment configuration. This position will also be responsible for certifying new devices and configurations to be deployed into the network. A successful candidate will have experience working in a Fortinet SD-WAN environment.

Skills and Requirements

CCNA or equivalent work experience

3+ years of experience in a related field

General knowledge of Service Provider technologies; L3VPN, EVPN, L2VPN, MPLS, BGP.

Experience with Cisco IOS-XR or the ability to learn this platform in an acceptable timeframe.

Experience with Ciena switches or the ability to learn this platform in an acceptable timeframe.

Experience Configuring SD-WAN links (Fortinet preferred) Fortinet SD-WAN certification highly preferred null
