About Us:

Our client in the Non-profit space is currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely using our accounting software.

• Verify invoice details, including pricing, quantities, and payment terms, and resolve discrepancies as needed.

• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing issues or discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliations.

• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and records.

• Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and invoice processing.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
