Supervisor Facilities Maintenance - Full time. Position will be primarily at McLaren Caro, but will float to McLaren Thumb.
Position Summary:
Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who repair and maintain buildings/facilities. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. May be involved in new construction or modification of existing properties.
Receives customer repairs and maintenance requests, determines appropriate actions and assigns work to employees.
Coordinates requests for outages and utility shutdowns related to scheduled projects.
Provides input into the development of department policies and procedures. Ensures employees maintain current knowledge of techniques and procedures. Assist in meeting the business, financial, customer, service quality and regulatory requirements of the area.

Accomplishes human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implements production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolves problems.

Qualifications:
Required:

High school diploma or GED.
·
Two
y
ears
of
college
level
course
work
in
bu
s
iness,
management,
engineering,
or
a
rela
t
e
d
field.
·
Four
y
ears
of
increasingly
responsible
facility
m
a
in
t
e
nance
expe
r
ience
including
so
m
e
lead
superviso
r
y
experience.
Valid state driver's license.
Driving record must be within the approved insurance company’s regulations.
Preferred:
Associates degree in engineering
High Pressure Boiler Operators License.
