Robert Half Paralegal in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a role within the legal industry, specifically for a Paralegal, based in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves providing paralegal and administrative support to a group of lawyers, primarily in our transaction practice, as well as various office administration duties.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with vendors, attorneys, and clients primarily via phone and email

• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and requests

• Conduct research on corporate entity status in various jurisdictions

• Review, analyze, and ensure compliance of documents and due diligence with terms and conditions of lenders

• Analyze and evaluate title exams, commitments, and policies for commercial real estate transactions, summarizing findings for review by a supervising attorney

• Research recorded transaction documents on various Registry of Deeds websites

• Request and summarize findings from UCC, tax lien, litigation searches for review by supervising attorney; prepare and file UCC financing statements in appropriate locations

• Prepare documents for attorney review in relation to transactions including Closing Agendas, and other ancillary loan and corporate documents related to commercial loan facilities, affordable housing transactions and real estate transactions

• Assist with loan closings

• Prepare and organize document binders and shared file sites for loan closings; conduct post-closing due diligence

• Utilize skills in Commercial Lending, Commercial Contracts, Commercial Real Estate, Real Estate, Real Estate - Commercial, Draft Documents. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in a paralegal role, preferably within a commercial setting.

• Proficiency in commercial lending practices and procedures.

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of commercial contracts.

• Proven experience in commercial real estate transactions.

• Familiarity with real estate law and practices.

• Ability to draft legal documents efficiently and accurately.
