Job Overview:

The Associate Nurse assists in primary, emergency, and occupational-related services within the scope of nursing practice and assists in administrative requirements of the department.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to employees, including assessment, monitoring, and treatment of illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.

  • Assist in promoting a healthy lifestyle and preventive healthcare practices among employees through health education and awareness programs.

  • Administer medications as prescribed by authorized healthcare professionals and ensure accurate documentation.

  • Respond to medical emergencies promptly, provide first aid treatment, and coordinate with appropriate medical personnel for further care, if necessary.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes.

  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.

  • Adhere to healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Possess a valid nursing degree or diploma from a recognized nursing institution with minimum GPA 3 of 4

  • Valid STR, ACLS and BTCLS

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational health or industrial nursing

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, medical professionals, and other stakeholders.

  • Clinical Skills: Proficient in clinical skills such as patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and emergency response.
