What You Will Do:
Day-to-day leadership, direction & coordination with business unit team
Perform as key leadership member for the cell in supporting the operational performance to plan
Process development, staff training, as well as the installation and startup of equipment
Assure compliance to all technical and quality requirements
Keep current on status and recent developments in the plant / industry / profession
Embrace CORE, promote principles and contribute to achieving/maintaining goals as a team
Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
Promote corporate code of ethical standards and business practice and company policies
Manage project planning for the department
Provide technical leadership and innovation to develop new controls, processes, and methodologies
Act as a change agent to implement process and product improvements
Demonstrate and lead a high level of communication and cooperation with team members
Team-oriented, strong work ethic and reliable
Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Management Team
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering and 10 or more years of related experience (a comparable combination of education & experience will be considered)
Experience in Hot Section Manufacturing Required
Proven written/verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels
Excellent customer service skills required providing a high level of service to satisfy/fulfill internal or external needs accurately in a timely manner
Organized/detailed, problem solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced manufacturing environment with the ability to adapt to changing business conditions
Highly self-directed, able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results
Qualifications We Value:
Six Sigma green or black belt training and/or lean manufacturing training a plus
Experienced in robotic programming

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
