Description

We are in search of a competent Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of accounting functions, including the utilization of accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. This is a permanent role for a great company.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the accounting department.

• Oversee the management of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate and timely processing.

• Conduct regular auditing and financial reporting to maintain financial integrity and transparency.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Ensure compliance with all internal and external accounting rules and regulations.

• Resolve any accounting discrepancies and irregularities promptly and accurately.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, improve financial performance, and meet organizational goals.

• Continuously improve systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting and data analysis.

• Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Requirements

• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the accounting industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software is required.

• Comprehensive understanding and ability to perform various accounting functions is necessary.

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Knowledge and experience in auditing practices are essential for this role.

• Candidate should be skilled in Financial Reporting and be able to prepare accurate reports in a timely manner.

• Experience in budgeting and forecasting is crucial for planning and managing financial resources.

• Proficiency to manage financial data and operations effectively.
