Blue Origin LLC Early Career Engineer - Propulsion in Seattle, Washington

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable space flight. As part of a small, hardworking, and accomplished team of professionals, you will design, develop, and test propulsion valves, fluid system components, and other mechanical systems for various liquid rocket engines. This hands-on position involves you in all aspects of the design, assembly, test, and flight operations of rocket components. We are looking for someone to apply their technical knowledge, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to impact safe human spaceflight positively. Passion for our mission and vision is required! Qualifications: B.S. degree in an engineering discipline (aerospace, mechanical, chemical, or physics desired) 0-2 years of professional engineering experience with valves, fluid control systems, and mechanisms Computer-aided design (CAD) experience Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Familiarity with data analysis and data processing Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Advanced degree in an engineering discipline Liquid rocket or jet engine development experience working with pressurized fluid components Experience with Creo (Pro/E) Wildfire 5 or greater, Windchill 10 Strong technical fundamentals in propulsion, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis Strong knowledge of hardware design processes related to valves and hardware fabrication techniques Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $75,510-$105,714 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
