Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an IT Director in New York, New York. The role will primarily involve leading the creation and overhaul of networks for a variety of companies in the telecom industry. As the lead engineer, you will map out networks and racks, as well as manage routers, switches, servers, and WiFi systems. You will also have a team to support you in these tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creation and overhaul of networks for a variety of companies

• Map out networks and racks

• Handle hands-on tasks with routers, switches, servers, and WiFi systems

• Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cisco ASA Firewall in performing tasks

• Collaborate with a local IT team and overseas cloud support for efficient operations

• Provide technical leadership to a small team

• Ensure the maintenance of network architecture and design

• Foster exposure to building and office spaces Requirements • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a must.

• Knowledge and experience working with Cisco ASA Firewall is required.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is preferred.

• Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Proven ability to manage and coordinate IT projects and initiatives.

• Experience in strategic planning and execution of IT infrastructures.

• Must have the ability to manage and lead team to achieve goals and meet deadlines.

• Must have a strong understanding of project management principles.

• Proven ability to set and manage budgets.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.

• Must be able to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to IT.

• Experience in change management is a plus.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively.
