Providence Lead Polysomnographer - Sleep Laboratory in Lubbock, Texas

Description

Works with minimal supervision to perform and score standard and complex sleep studies.

Required qualifications:

  • National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire or

  • National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire or

  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

  • Complete a minimum of 18 month of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, OR

  • Complete a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience where the duties performed are primarily polysomnography, and the applicant holds a credential in an allied health field accepted by the BRPT (e.g., nursing, respiratory care, electroneurodiagnostics). Applicants MUST submit a copy of a certificate or official correspondence from the credentialing agency with their application.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited course in polysomnographic testing.

  • Associate's degree in Technologist trainees have degree or equivalent education/experience

  • Continued education involving the basic sciences, and 1 year experience in hospital setting or an allied health field.
