Robert Half is partnering with a reputable CPA firm known for providing exceptional tax services to its diverse clientele in their search for a Tax Associate. As a Tax Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our tax department by assisting with tax compliance, research, and client communication. This position offers an opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of tax accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.

• Assist in tax planning and strategy development to minimize tax liabilities for clients.

• Conduct tax research and stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide tax-related guidance.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and related tax disclosures.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax projects.

• Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.

• Maintain organized and detailed documentation of tax-related activities.

• Participate in professional development activities to enhance tax knowledge and skills.

  Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification or working towards CPA preferred).

• 1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related role.

• Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
