Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and vehicle such as ambulances, automobiles, and trucks. Make field repairs as needed. Perform general tire and repair work on equipment and vehicles. Perform field or shop inspections of heavy and light equipment to determine cost of repair needs or estimate cost of repair. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Current valid NC drivers license with a good driving history. Two years experience in emergency vehicle repair and troubleshooting. Specialized training in at least one major automotive systems. EMS certification or experience preferred. Secondary technical education or experience in the automotive repair field preferred.
