Description

We are offering an opportunity for an Project Accounting Specialist for an in the Architecture industry. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this role involves various accounting and administrative tasks. As a key part of our team, your responsibilities will encompass project cost accounting, data entry, billing collection, and workflow processes to support our objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain workflow and job tasks to meet company goals and objectives

• Set up projects and assign budgets within our project cost accounting software platform

• Review, reconcile, code, and enter subconsultant invoices

• Perform data entry tasks and invoice clients

• Handle check requests and check runs

• Oversee accounts receivable collections

• Compile information for project audits

• Investigate budget variances and review contracts to coordinate invoicing requirements

• Ensure the accuracy of all accounting and administrative tasks

• Conduct detailed reviews to maintain high-quality output in all tasks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the Architecture industy

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Ability to perform Daily Reconciliation tasks

• Knowledge of Coding procedures

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Experience in Billing Collection

• Understanding of Workflow Processes

• Ability to conduct Project audits

• Familiarity with Project Accounting

• Ability to conduct Detailed Reviews

• Demonstrated ability to Ensure Accuracy in all tasks.
